Dubai: Kannur native and UAE business woman Haseena Nishad had a memorable birthday, thanks to the novel idea suggested by her children. The birthday turned a day of recognition for around 50 food delivery boys as the family shared gifts with them. Interestingly, the family also wanted them to enjoy the food they delivered.
According to Haseena’s husband Nishad Hussain, the idea of appreciating the food delivery boys was suggested by children Shinaz, Hamdan, Hannan and Heslin.
The siblings had readied gift packets with the message, “Today is our mother’s birthday and we wish to share our happiness with you.”
On Haseena’s birthday, the family ordered around 50 food items from various restaurants in Sharjah. The children welcomed the delivery boys home and shared gifts and food they delivered.
For most delivery boys, this was something first-of-its-kind experience and they treasure those moments, according to their reactions. Some took selfie with the children and thanked the family.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the business couple has been involved in activities of novel gesture. Last Labours’ Day, they took eight exceptional employees from around 7,000 employees working under them for a Rolls-Royce ride. They were also taken to Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
