Kuwait to continue with 14-day quarantine for foreign returnees
Kuwait City: The government spokesperson Tareq al-Mazrem informed that the quarantine period of foreign returnees will continue as 14 days. There is no change in the protocol guidelines to be followed by those returning to the country after visiting other countries. 14-day home quarantine is to be strictly followed, he said.
The cabinet meeting convened at Seif Palace under Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah evaluated the Covid prevention activities in the country.
Health Minister Dr. Basel Hamoud Al-Hamad Al-Sabah detailed the draft plan regarding the distribution of Covid vaccine. He added that during the one-year-long campaign, elderly, critically ill patients, health workers, those in the forefront of Covid fight, essential sector employees will be given priority.
