Kuwait City: The Kuwait authority has announced that domestic workers from other countries will be allowed to enter the country from December 7.
In the initial phase, entry is limited only for workers from India and Philippines.
Saad Al-Otaibi, general administration of civil aviation spokesperson, has informed that domestic workers from other countries will be allowed to enter Kuwait in the second phase.
The cabinet directed the officials to immediately complete the procedures relating to the return of foreign domestic workers.
Apart from the flight ticket, 270 Kuwaiti dinars will be spent for each domestic worker for accommodation, transportation, RT-PCR test and food. The sponsors should bear this amount.
Kuwait aims to bring 100 domestic workers per day. For this purpose, the service of domestic airlines will be utilized.
Domestic workers from India should pay 110 Kuwaiti dinars as flight ticket fare.
