Kuwait makes PCR test certificate mandatory for all entrants
Kuwait City: The Kuwait authority has announced that no persos will be allowed to enter the country without PCR test certificate which proves they are COVID negative.
Apart from the random swab test at the airport and home quarantine of 14 days, each passenger must produce an approved PCR test certificate proving that they are negative for coronavirus, informed Kuwait government spokesperson Tariq Al-Muzrim.
“Passengers who violate the COVID-19 protocol proposed by the health ministry will not be allowed to enter Kuwait,” added the official.
At the same time, he also dismissed media reports which claimed Kuwait will give relaxations in COVID protocol to an Arab community stranded in a neighbouring country for travelling to Kuwait. He pointed out that the government did not take any action related to this matter.
