Kozhikode plane crash: Expat businessman offers to bear quarantine expense of rescuers
Dubai: A noted businessman here has offered monetary aid to financially backward people who were involved in the rescue operations in the Karipur airport crash and were quarantined.
VT Salim, Managing Director of Silver Home Real Estate, Sharjah will bear the expenses of the rescuers during the quarantine period. He will hand over Rs 5 lakh to Mathrubhumi for the same.
Mathrubhumi Assistant General Manager Public Relations KR Pramod said that the deserving people will be identified and the money handed over to them.
VT Salim said that this is a way of expressing his gratitude to the people of Kondotty for taking care of the expatriates during the disaster. Their selfless deeds can’t be unseen, he added.
