Kozhikode man dies of COVID-19 in Bahrain

Jamal died at Salmaniya Hospital in Manama on Monday. He had been working in Bahrain for 37 years.

Manama: A Keralite succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment for the virus in Bahrain.

The deceased was identified as Kozhikode Kuttiyadi native Jamal Parakkuthazhe (55). He died at Salmaniya Hospital here on Monday.

Jamal is survived by wife Sareena and their children Thanveer and Thanseer. Jamal had been working in Bahrain for 37 years.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths reported in Bahrain rose to 141.

There are 3,301 active coronavirus patients in Bahrain. The condition of all of them is stable except for 47, the health ministry informed. 35,689 patients have recovered from the disease in Bahrain so far.
