Keralites who flew from Dubai to TVM stranded in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A group of Keralites who set out from Dubai to Thiruvananthapuram were put in distress by an airline company. The passengers who were supposed to board the connection flight via Hyderabad were stuck in the city.
An IndiGo flight took off from Dubai with 200 passengers on Thursday at 10.25 in the morning and landed at Hyderabad airport by 3.25 pm. They were supposed to board the Thiruvananthapuram flight by 6 pm. But as the connection flight was cancelled, they could not continue the journey.
The passengers were taken in a closed vehicle from the airport for testing coronavirus. After the test, they were stamped on hands and shifted to a hostel. Later, when they contacted the airline company, they were told that they should go to their destination at their own risk.
The passengers also alleged that the company also held their passports. Later, the company returned the passports on Friday morning and asked the passengers to return to their place on their own.
