Kuwait City: A nurse from Kerala passed away after battling with coronavirus at Jabir hospital. The deceased is identified as Thiruvalla native Annie Mathew (54).
She was serving as a nurse in Kuwait Central Blood Bank at Jabriya. It was on February 28, she returned to Thiruvalla for the last time.
Her funeral will be held as per the COVID-19 protocol in Kuwait.
With this death, the number of Keralites who died of COVID-19 in Gulf countries rose to 72.
