India-Kuwait temporary flight services to be operational from August 10
Kuwait City: Giving relief to Indian expatriates who were unable to fly back to Kuwait amid the pandemic outbreak, the civil aviation ministries of both countries agreed to resume flight operations. Temporary flight services will be operated between India and Kuwait from August 10 to October 24.
As the Kuwait Directorate General of Civil Aviation approved the recommendations of India, steps were taken to operate the flight services.
As per this agreement, airlines of both countries will be permitted to operate flights with 500 seats per day. Kuwait Airways will be permitted to operate service with 300 passengers on board. Jazeera Airways will operate services with 200 passengers per day as directed by Kuwait DGCA.
The flights from Kuwait will be operated to15 airports n India including Kochi, Kannur, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
