COVID-19: Saudi Arabia reports 3,989 new cases; 40 deaths

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia reported 3,989 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, the Saudi health ministry said. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases reported in the gulf country rose to 1,83,243.

As many as 40 persons died in the last 24 hours taking the total death toll to 1,551.

2,627 persons recovered from the virus on Sunday taking the total number of cured cases in the country to 1,24,755.

At present, 56,187 persons are undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia out of which 2,277 are in critical condition.
