COVID-19 prevention: 3 brothers from Kasaragod get honoured in Dubai
Kasaragod: Three brothers, natives of Chenkala here, got honoured in Dubai for their efforts in preventing the COVID-19 outbreak.
The siblings namely BI Riyas (36), Ruksan (30) and Rifzal (28) have been actively engaged in the COVID-19 prevention activities of the health authority in Dubai.
The trio is the sons of Congress Kasaragod block vice president and contractor BA Ismail and Jameela.
Following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the trio has been working at the isolation centre without taking leave or returning home. Their dedication towards service made headlines in the Arab media.
Riyas, who passed the medical lab technician course from Bengaluru, has been working in Dubai for 15 years. His siblings also passed the same course and joined the health service in Dubai.
Ruksan has been working in Dubai for the last 4 years. The younger brother Rifzal has been working in Dubai for 3 years.
The trio went to Dubai after working at private hospitals in Mangaluru, Kasaragod and Kannur.
