COVID-19: Govt staff ordered to stay at home for 16 days in Saudi
Riyadh: In the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, Saudi Arabia has suspended work of government employees for the next 16 days. The Ministry of Interior has ordered that the government employees need not report in office for the next 16 days. Hence, the employees will get compulsory holidays of 16 days.
Saudi Arabia Press Agency, the official news agency of the Kingdom has reported the news.
It is reported that the government has ordered employees in government offices to stay at home to avoid exposure to COVID-19.
At the same time, workers in health, security and military services are exempted from the order.
