Commercial flight services from Kuwait to commence on August 1
Kuwait City: Commercial airline services from Kuwait will commence from August 1. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued restrictions to be followed in this regard.
All passengers entering Kuwait must undergo a PCR test. All Kuwait nationals and foreigners entering the country in a commercial airline must carry a PCR test certificate from an authorised medical centre. Moreover, they must observe a mandatory 14 day home quarantine after signing an affidavit promising to obey the directions of the Kuwait Health Ministry.
Before entering the aircraft, the passengers must download and register in the Shlonik application. They must wear masks and gloves while inside the aircraft. The passengers will have to undergo thermal scanning before entering the aircraft and must maintain social distancing.
