B2B’s chartered flight ferries expats from Qatar to Kannur
Doha: The association of Indian businessmen in Qatar, Business-to-Business (B2B), arranged a chartered flight to fly 180 expats stranded here amid Covid pandemic to Kannur. The flight took off from the Doha airport on June 27 morning at 10.15 am.
The flight carried, two children, 31 persons who lost job, 17 who have medical emergencies, 15 senior citizens and 3 pregnant women among others. 6 passengers were given free ride.
The flight was chartered within four days with the help of a private travel agency. Organizers Muhammad Kallat and Firoz Nattu extended their gratitude to ICBF President PN Baburaj, social activist Dr Mohan Thomas and Mahesh Gowda.
B2B secretary Tenny TK, Treasurer Rasiq Ashraf and Sibi K Saidu helped in arranging all the required facilities for the passengers.
