Alappuzha man succumbs to COVID-19 in Bahrain
Manama: A Keralite succumbed to COVID-19 while undergoing treatment for the virus in Bahrain. The deceased was identified as Alappuzha Haripad Karichal native Ajeendran (53).
Ajeendran was being treated in the isolation ward of the hospital and his condition worsened due to other diseases. Ajeendran had been working in a private firm in Manama for 10 years. He is survived by wife Girija and their children Ajith and Arun.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths reported in Bahrain rose to 157. There are 2787 active coronavirus patients in Bahrain. The condition of all of them is stable except for 40, the health ministry informed. 39,945 patients have recovered from the disease in Bahrain so far.
