Air India service to Kerala to commence from Oct 4
Dubai: According to the Air Bubble contract between UAE and India, Air India is starting flight service to Kerala from October 4. The order in this regard was issued two days ago.
Dubai-Kannur service will be available on October 4 and 11, Dubai-Kochi service on October 5, 12, and 19, Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram on October 6, 13 and 20 and Dubai-Kozhikode service on October 7, 14 and 21. The permission for travelling is granted strictly following the conditions.
Passengers can carry baggage weighing 30 kilograms and hand baggage weighing 8 kilograms. Ticket charge starts from 330 Dirhams. Dubai-Kannur journey costs 360 Dirhams while Dubai-Kochi costs 390 Dirhams, Dubai-Thiruvananthapuram costs 330 Dirhams and Dubai-Kozhikode at 350 Dirhams.
Air India service from Dubai to other cities in India had started from September 3. Currently, flight services to Kerala is available from Dubai only. The flights take off from terminal 2 of Dubai airport. Passengers have to report 4 hours prior to the journey.
Seats will be reorganised on the basis of availability for those who have booked ticket after March 20. The Air India ticket booked by those whose trip were cancelled due to COVID threat will be valid till December 31, 2021, the authorities informed.
