Abu Dhabi: The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE's Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan paid a visit to a Malayali man who is under treatment at a hospital here. He visited Malappuram Kuruva Pazhamulloor native Mullappally Ali who is the personal staff for about 30 years.
Ali had undergone a surgery to remove a blood clot in the brain and was energized after the visit of the Sheikh. The crown prince arrived on Thursday by 1 pm and assured him of best treatment.
Ali used to travel with the personal staff during the foreign trip of the prince and had visited Saudi Arabia and Morocco last week. After returning, he suffered dizziness and memory loss and sought medical help.
A blood clot in brain was detected in the MRI scan and the doctors suggested an emergency surgery. However, the crown prince intervened in the matter and shifted him to Cleveland Clinic, one of the best hospitals in Abu Dhabi.
Ali’s sons Naseeb, Naseer and Nisar said that they never expected the Sheikh to visit him in person, though he used to inquire about Ali’s health over phone. They added that the incident is an evidence for the ruler’s responsibility towards the foreign citizens including Indians.
Also they made it clear that the Crown prince Court has properly intervened to ensure best treatment for their father. Ali’s wife Ramla said that she considers the Sheikh’s visit as the best honour ever received by Ali for his dedicated service and loyalty.
