7 Keralites succumb to COVID-19 in Gulf on Tuesday
Riyad: Seven Keralites died in the Gulf countries due to COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Prayar Native Abdussalam (44) died in Riyad. Abdussalam died in Sulaiman Habeeb hospital. He was working as a plumber in Riyad. He was found in the hospital by social workers following the information they received from Kerala.
Apart from COVID, Abdussalam had problems in both his kidneys. He is the son of Jalauddin- Rukhiya couple. Abdussalam is survived by his wife Shamna, children Sahal and Mohammed Sinan. Shaji, Rasheed, Salim and Shihab are his siblings.
Kannur native Ajayan Mamburath died in Kuwait. He tested positive for COVID-19 six days ago.
Malappuram native Seytali Kutty (69) died in Doha.
Kollam native Shibu (31) died in Abu Dhabi. He had been undergoing treatment for the past two weeks.
Irinjalakuda native Binil died in Dubai. He had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Ajman for the last one week.
Bekal native Isahak (44) died in Abu Dhabi.
In the past 48 hours, 23 Keralites died due to COVID-19 in the Gulf region.
With this, the total number of Keralites who succumbed to the pandemic in the Gulf region increased to 125.
