Petrol price hiked again, Rs 103.82 in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Petrol price increased on Saturday by 30 paise for a litre. The price of diesel remains unchanged. In Kochi, a litre of petrol is priced at Rs 102.06 and in Thiruvananthapuram, it is Rs 103.82. Kozhikode recorded a price of Rs 102.26. For diesel, it is Rs 96.53 in Thiruvananthapuram.

Fuel price on Thursday was hiked by 30 paise a litre for petrol and diesel 17 paise, pushing rates to a new high across the country.

Since May first week, petrol price was hiked on 40 occasions.

Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise in Kerala and are at an all-time high. Fuel prices have crossed Rs 100 across all districts in Kerala.

States which have seen petrol price cross Rs 100 per litre are Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, J&K, Odisha, TN, Ladakh and Bihar.
