Thiruvananthapuram: The hike in price of petrol and diesel by the oil majors continues unabated. On Monday, the price of fuel continued to rise for the eighth time within 14 days. One litre of petrol increased by 29 paise and diesel by 31 paise.

Thiruvananthapuram reported a petrol price of Rs 98.39 and diesel at Rs 93.74 for a litre.

In Kochi, petrol is priced at Rs 96.51 and diesel at Rs 92.97. The fuel price is rising for the 23rd time after the announcement of election results.
