Malayali youth makes it to Forbes list through his crypto exchange ‘Vauld’

Sanju Sony Kurian

A Malayali start-up entrepreneur Sanju Sony Kurian made it to the prestigious Forbes influential persons ‘Under 30’ in Asia. Mavelikkara native Sanju is the co-founder and chief technology officer of the crypto exchange ‘vauld.com’ headquartered in Singapore. He is 29 years old.

He established Vauld along with his friend Darshan Batija in 2018. Vauld is a platform for purchasing and selling digital cryptocurrencies. Similar to banks, Vauld ensures investments and credits, in cryptocurrency.

Within this short term, Vauld has managed to obtain a capital investment of Rs 200 crore from Peter Thiel, founder of PayPal which is one of the largest online payment processors in the world.

Forbes has acknowledged Sanju and Darshan under the category of financial services.
