Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Startup Mission issued funds for 200 enterprises and provided guidelines to over 900 individuals with novel ideas in the previous year.
According to the US-based startup genome Global Startup Ecosystem Report of 2022, Kerala Startup Mission emerged first in Asia in Affordable Talents while securing fourth rank for the same in the global level.
In 2022, the state government decided to facilitate 54 services under various government departments via startup initiatives.
Chief executive officer of Kerala Startup Mission Anoop Ambika informed that the mission could achieve considerable success in the startup ecosystem of Kerala last year. The mission will proceed by encouraging fresh concepts of the budding entrepreneurs, he said.
