Fuel price increases again; nears Rs 90 in state capital

Thiruvananthapuram: The fuel price yet again increased on Wednesday. Petrol price was increased by 25 paise and diesel price was increased by 26 paise per litre.

In the district, one litre of petrol costs Rs 88.58 in the city while it is nearly Rs 90 in rural areas.

In Kochi, petrol costs Rs 86.44 while diesel costs Rs 80.64.

On Tuesday, the two auto fuels had witnessed the steepest single-day hike in several months as the price of petrol was raised by 35 paise per litre while diesel price was raised by 37 paise per litre.
