Allegations over issual of 1.2 lakh CIAL shares: Vigilance court orders for quick verification

Muvattupuzha: A vigilance court here has ordered a quick verification on a complaint alleging that 1,20,000 shares of Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL), meant to be distributed to employees had been given to non-employees.

The order has been issued by vigilance judge P Saidalavi.

The complaint is regarding the issual of share worth Rs 10 (face value), during the period 2011-17.

The complaint lodged by shareowner Gireesh Babu has accused former CIAL MD VJ Kurian, company secretary R Venkiteshwaran and executive assistant Jose Thomas, among others.
