Thiruvananthapuram: The protest march organised by Yuva Morcha workers to the secretariat ended up in clashes. The march was organised in protest over the PSC appointment controversy.

Some of the party workers pelted stones at the police officers. They also threw footwear and sticks into the compound of the secretariat.

The police resorted to lathi charge amid the clashes with party workers. They also fired tear gas shells. The police surrounded some of the protesters and used water cannon.

Four Yuva Morcha activists including state secretary Vishnu sustained injuries. A march organised by the Youth Congress workers also had ended up in clashes the other day.
