Kalpetta: The police on Saturday arrested seven youth for disrupting police patrolling at Kalpetta Town.
The arrested are Vishnu, Praveen Kumar, Arun, Vignesh, MP Arun, Abhilash and Sreerag. The incident took place at Chungam Junction in Kalpetta.
According to police, the youth took a picture of the police jeep and claimed that the vehicle did not have insurance. They also misbehaved with the police officials and blocked KSRTC bus that came on way.
“The youths were adamant that they should inspect the KSRTC bus. They were apparently in an inebriated condition,” said the police.
