Kottayam: The youth who died while being under COVID observation after returning from abroad has tested negative for COVID-19. He died on Thursday at Kottayam Medical College. The test result of Kurumullur native Manjunath’s (39) sample was received on Friday.

The youth was taken to the Kottayam Medical College after he developed health problems during his home quarantine. Even though he was taken to the medical college hospital, relatives claim that the treatment was delayed in the hospital.

However, medical college authorities claim that the delay was caused by two patients being admitted in the hospital at the same time.
