Injuries on Chandrasenan's body
Adimali: Police took a youth in custody for throwing acid on his father following a property dispute. Chandrasenan (60) of Padayara house has been hospitalised sustaining severe injuries on the chest and back.
The incident pertaining to the case was reported from Irumbupalam in Pazhimpillichal. A verbal clash broke out between Chandrasenan and his inebriated son Vineeth on Sunday evening. During the brawl, Vineeth allegedly attempted to kill his father by throwing formic acid used for making rubber products.
The statement given at the hospital noted that Vineeth tried to kill by pouring acid targeting the face and body. Police have initiated a probe over the case.
