Kannur: A youth was arrested with 17 grams of ecstasy drug MDMA in Kannur. The accused has been identified as Nadal native Sanidh. Police took him under custody from Edakkad on Thursday morning.
Another youth was arrested a day before the arrest of Sanidh with MDMA in Kannur town. Kannur town police had seized 20 grams of MDMA and 56 grams of hashish oil from a goods carrier. Pappinisseri native Ajnas (21) was booked in connection with the case.
The town police recorded the arrest of four youth who carried 69 grams of MDMA and another with cannabis on Monday.
