Mayyil: A five-year-old girl, Rafiya, and a youth, Ajeer, lost their lives after their bike collided with an electric pole in Kannadiparamba here.
Ajeer, 26, a Kattampally native, was riding the bike with Rafiya, daughter of Nias, a relative.
The accident happened at 10 pm on Wednesday while the two were returning from a reception at a relative's house in Kannadiparamba. Despite being rushed to a private hospital in Kannur, both of them succumbed to their injuries.
