Kalladikode (Palakkad): A young man drowned while bathing in the Thuppanad river. The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Babu (31), a construction worker from Vallikode. The incident took place at 8:30 pm on Sunday.
Dinesh was bathing with his relatives at. However, he was on the opposite side of the river. While the others had already returned home after their bath, Dinesh did not come home, prompting them to search for him.

Eventually, Dinesh's body was discovered drowned in the water, and his clothes were found on the shore. He was immediately rushed to Palakkad district hospital, but could not be saved. The accident occurred in an area of the river where a deep hole was present.
Dinesh is survived by his parents Karimban and Rugmini and siblings Minimol and Dinumol.
