Kozhikode: The Youth Congress district committee on Saturday demanded an end to the CPM’s practice of nepotism and political interventions in the Lower Primary School Teacher (LPST) appointments.
“Stringent action must be taken after investigating the complaints that allege unauthorised alterations in the appointment orders,” said Youth Congress district president R Shahin.
“The superintendent and the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) should be ready to curtail those officials who conduct parallel governance in the office,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Deshiya Adhyapaka Parishad alleged that Left organisations tampering with the UP School appointment order issued by the DDE is against the law.
“Action must be taken against the Left front’s political move of tampering with the appointment orders of even those candidates who were employed via PSC appointments,” demanded T Anoop Kumar, Parishad state general secretary.
