Malappuram: CPM state secretary A Vijayaraghavan attacked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his remarks on the insecurity of minority groups in Kerala. He stated that Yogi’s Uttar Pradesh is the state where minority groups are insecure reminding him the violence against Dalit and Muslim communities in the northern state.

“Attacking Dalits in the name of cow and lynching Muslim people on road would not take place in Kerala. BJP leaders should tell this matter to Yogi during free hours,” said Vijayaraghavan as criticising BJP and UP CM.

The CPM leader condemned the BJP for propagating issues like Love Jihad when the people are hit by actual issues like petrol price hike and unemployment.

He was addressing the media during the LDF led rally here on Monday.

"GST will destroy the federal nature of the country. Now, the centre has increased the fuel price to bring it under GST. LDF government will not fall prey to such trap,” said Vijayaraghavan.

“In Kerala, we have a pro-BJP Congress. In each state, the parties will take different stand depending on the political situation. But LDF will not take any hasty decision by believing the survey results. We will do our job well,” he added.
