Yoga classes for KSRTC staff to make them behave politely with passengers
Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC has started teaching yoga to its employees for making them behave politely with the passengers. The management has taken the decision to reduce the stress of the staff and create a healthy working environment for all.
Experts in various fields are conducting personality development classes for the KSRTC staff. Yoga classes are conducted during the morning and evening. Training for emergency medical care is also provided.
The drivers have to attend a three-day-long training programme and conductors have to take part in the classes for two days.
Apart from yoga and personality development, the drivers will be trained to follow a healthy diet according to their duty schedule. Driving teachers and road safety experts will conduct special classes for the drivers.
Higher officials will also interact with the employees during the training session to identify their problems.
At present, training is being held for 350 employees in the first batch at Kovalam Animation Centre and Kazhakkoottam Maria Rani Training Centre. The classes will conclude on March 31.
After examining the feedback, the training procedure will be modified.
