Kozhikode: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a yellow alert in 4 districts on Monday.
Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad and Kozhikode districts will experience isolated heavy rains, the IMD warned.
The Kerala state disaster management authority warned fisherfolk of turbulent climate in the coastal areas of Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Coastal areas of Kerala and Lakshadweep will witness turbulent climate from Monday (April 6) to Wednesday (April 8). Southern Andaman sea and south-east Bay of Bengal will witness turbulent climate on Monday (April 6) and Tuesday (April 7).

The KSDMA refrained fisherfolk from venturing into the sea in these areas on the above mentioned dates.
