Yechury gives fitting reply to Gopalakrishnan for comment on ration denial to Kerala
CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury gave a fitting reply to BJP spokesperson B Gopalakrishnan for his recent statement that Kerala will be denied ration if National Population Register (NPR) is not implemented here.
In a tweet, Yechury tagged the news published by ‘Mathrubhumi.com’ and said, “Modi had spoken of Kerala being like Somalia. The BJP wants to fulfil Modi's perverse dream of starving the proud people of Kerala. But that is not happening. They can keep on dreaming”. Yechury concluded the post by saying ‘let’s see’ in both Hindi and Malayalam.

B Gopalakrishnan had said that those who threaten Hindus will have to go to Pakistan. He also added that Pinarayi Vijayan himself will have to implement NPR in Kerala, if not the state will be denied ration. He also criticised writer Arundhati Roy for asking people to lie during census.
