Kozhikode: Former Kerala Minister Dr MK Muneer on Sunday said that it is completely hollow to argue that a transgender person gave birth to a baby and termed it “media propaganda”.

Speaking at the Wisdom Islamic Organisation conference in Kozhikode, Muneer said, “We are facing numerous problems, caused due to liberalism, that are questioning humanity. There are gender neutral residues in the government now.”

“When a woman fails in her attempt to become a man, her womb remains within her. She cut off her breasts because of her dream to be a man. She delivers a baby. However, it is troubling that she is unable to even feed her baby,” he said.

“A child is born only out of the fusion of a sperm and egg. If it is said that a baby was born otherwise, then it is a miracle. Those who think likewise are in a heaven of fools. Trans-men cannot deliver a child,” he added.
