Ernakulam: Renowned writer Arundhati Roy attended a boat race in Cheppanam here.
Though she remained unnoticed for a while, the organisers announced the presence of the writer during the commentary.
With this, Arundhanti became the centre of attention of the event. Many surrounded her for a selfie with their favourite writer.
The event was organised jointly by the Kumbalam grama panchayat, Rotary club and Thanal foundation.
