Worship centres to be opened as soon as situation turns favourable: CM

Pinarayi Vijayan

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the worship centres will be opened as soon as the situation turns favourable.

The disease transmission rate seems to decline in the current circumstances. The ongoing restrictions will continue till next Wednesday. More relaxations will be announced considering the situation in this week, the CM added.

The weekly analysis has not taken place. The final decision will be taken after the evaluation on Tuesday. The government has no plans to keep the worship centres completely. But we were compelled to take such decisions, the CM made it clear.

The chief minister stated this after several religious organisations and political parties demanded to open worship centres.
