Won’t interfere in case though Binoy was granted anticipatory bail, says Kodiyeri
Kochi: Even though Binoy Kodiyeri was granted anticipatory bail by Mumbai Dindoshi Sessions Court in the allege rape case, I will not interfere in the case, said his father and CPM veteran, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. Let the case proceed legally. I will not protect Binoy and there is no change in my stance, he added.
Kodiyeri had taken the same stance ever since the case came out. Himself or the party can’t take the responsibility of the offences committed by family members, he had said adding that no action will be taken to protect Binoy.
Binoy was granted anticipatory bail on some strict conditions.
A security deposit of Rs 25,000 has to be paid. For one month, Binoy has to appear at the police station on every Mondays. If police demands, he will have to undergo DNA test and has to hand over blood samples. By no means should try to influence any witnesses, are the conditions cited in the bail.
