Thiruvananthapuram: Attingal police took three women and a man under custody from a KSRTC bus based on the complaint received from co-passengers for showering abusive words during travel. The incident happened at around 1 am in the bus heading from Ernakulam to Thiruvananthapuram. The group, including three women and a man, boarded the bus from Kallambalam.
Soon after entering the bus, they started to create ruckus alleging there were no vacant seats in the bus. Though some of the passengers offered seats when the issue escalated, they were not ready to compromise and continued the brawl.
Later, a verbal clash erupted between the group and other passengers. Meanwhile, the driver drove the bus to Attingal police station and the cops intervened. However, the women and man continued their ill-mannered behaviour with the police too.
Police have decided to conduct medical examination of the women as they suspect they were intoxicated with drugs. A case has been registered against the women and the man who accompanied them.
