Women’s Commission charges suo motu case against Firoz Kunnamparambil
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Women’s Commission charged a suo motu case against charity worker Firoz Kunnamparambil for making derogatory remarks against women through social media. The case charged in connection with his comments on a woman who was former KSU leader. Women’s Commission Chairperson M. C. Josephine demanded that police should take strict action against Firoz.
All women of Kerala have been insulted with this remark and this cannot be allowed. A person who engages in charity works should not address women in such a demeaning way. The society should alienate such people, Josephine said.
Firoz Kunnamparambil had said in a Facebook live video that the woman was not suitable for a family and is living for her own pleasures. By using the term ‘woman’ to make insulting remarks, Firoz has disrespected all women in Kerala. Strict action will be taken against this, Women’s Commission chairperson said.
