Vadakara: As women are soaring to various heights across the world, a team of young girls from Kadathanadu in Vadakara are excited to have done something out of the ordinary.

Five women artists namely Ambili Vijayan, Rajina Radhakrishnan, Anashwara, Harith and Swathy have apparently taken over the art of painting facades in temples.

Within a total of 20 days, they finished adorning the facade of a Devi Temple in Villiappally with traditional mural painting.

Initially, there were concerns about climbing up the temple towers to paint the facade. However, the temple committee made all the necessary arrangements for the same.

After completing the work in accordance with temple rituals, these women have so far received several similar opportunities from many places.
