Kochi: An aged woman who was undergoing treatment with suspected COVID-19 symptoms at Ernakulam Govt. Medical College breathed her last here on Sunday. The deceased is identified as Ayyampuzha native Marykutty Pappachan (77).
Her swab sample was sent to Alappuzha NIV lab for COVID-19 test. Marykutty was shifted to the Govt. Medical College from a private hospital after suspecting COVID-19 infection.
She was admitted to the medical college on Saturday evening after suffering from pneumonia. Marykutty was also suffering from diabetes and cardiac problems.
