Thiruvananthapuram: In a tragic mishap, a woman was killed when her scooter hit a road divider at Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvananthapuram. Nandana Anish, 25, residing at Nethaji Road is the deceased.
The accident happened on Saturday morning in front of the Thankamma stadium at Peroorkada-Ambalamukku Road. Nandana was driving the scooter towards Ambalamukku when the vehicle hit the divider.
Nandana was thrown out of the vehicle and she sustained severe head injuries. Though she was rushed to a nearby hospital, her life could not be saved. The last rites was held at Shanti Kavadam. She is survived by husband Anish Kumar and daughter Anusree.
