Haripad: In a tragic incident that occurred in Thrikkunnapuzha, a woman and her daughter were found hanging inside their house in mysterious circumstances. The deceased were identified as Ambili (Subha – 54) and Anju (Revathi – 34) and were found dead on Wednesday night. Ambili was the wife of Suresh Kumar from Kallikaadantharayil.
At the time of the incident, both Ambili and Anju were alone in the house. Suresh Kumar had left home in the afternoon to attend the funeral of one of his relatives. When he returned home at night, he found the house in darkness with no lights switched on. He immediately broke open the door along with some neighbours and found the bodies.
Anju was living in Chennai with her husband Shiju. She had reached her husband's place and arrived at her home on Wednesday morning with her mother-in-law and father-in-law. There was no suicide note found, and the police could not infer any reason for the death.
Ambili's other daughter is Aswathy, and Anju had two children Meenakshi and Jibu. After the autopsy, the bodies were released, and the last rites were held.
