Ambalappara: A woman collapsed and died soon after hearing the death of her son at Thirundikkal in Palakkad.
Ambalappara native Aneesh Babu (38) was found dead in an abandoned quarry pond on Tuesday. His 59-year-old mother Amina collapsed on hearing the news of her son’s death. Though she was rushed to Ottapalam Taluk Hospital, she could not be saved.
Aneesh Babu was found missing from Tuesday noon onwards. His relatives and neighbours found him in the nearby quarry pond by evening after conducting a search. The quarry pond was once used for fish culture by Aneesh’s father Aboobacker.
