Kochi: Metro Man E Sreedharan stated that he is willing to contest the assembly election from any constituency suggested by BJP. He added that he will work as a technocrat rather than as a politician. He was addressing the media on Thursday after examining the Palarivattom flyover which was reconstructed.
My only request to the party was not to field me in any constituency which is far from my residence in Ponnani. Palarivattom scam will be a major issue in the election campaign. BJP is expecting a grand victory in Kerala. I will file nomination only after retiring from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC), Sreedharan made it clear.
All works of Palarivattom flyover will be complete by Friday. It will be handed over on Friday or Saturday. The report in this regard will be handed over to the government by Friday afternoon. The reconstruction was completed within time. We are grateful to Uralungal for completing the construction as fast as possible, he added.
