Will think of reinstating Jose into UDF if he changes his stance: PJ Joseph
Idukki: PJ Joseph stated that Kerala Congress (M) went out of UDF as they were undeserving. If they change for the better, then reinstating into the front will be considered, he said while addressing media here.
“UDF’s decision should be obeyed. He (Jose K Mani) should accept that there was an agreement on the Kottayam district panchayat president post. The president should resign. If these are done and he changes for the better, Jose will be reinstated into the UDF. No party can continue in the front without accepting the decision. They don't deserve to continue,” he said.
It is not right to say they were ousted. Jose is saying they were expelled with other interests. They went out themselves, he added.
Joseph also responded to CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s remarks that Kerala Congress (M) has a strong foothold.
“It is wrecking. Today many will resign from the party”.
No one can say whether Jose will join NDA or LDF. No-trust motion will be brought in against the Kottayam district panchayat president at the right time. Delaying it is part of a strategy as more and more people are continuing to shift to our side. This would be more visible in coming days, he added.
