Will take action to disqualify P. J. Joseph, Monce Joseph, says Jose K. Mani
Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) leader Jose K. Mani stated that he will file a complaint to the Speaker to disqualify P. J. Joseph and Monce Joseph from their MLA positions.
Jose K. Mani also said that a decision regarding change in alliance will be taken before the local self-government polls in the state. He was speaking to the media after the steering committee meeting of the Kerala Congress.
“A whip was issued to the MLAs to not take part in the no-confidence motion held on August 24 and in the Rajya Sabha voting. However, P. J. Joseph and Monce Joseph violated this whip. Action will be taken to disqualify both. This was demanded unanimously in the steering committee meeting,” Jose K. Mani said.
He also informed that party whip Roshi Augustin will write a letter to the Speaker demanding the disqualification of both the MLAs.
Jose K. Mani also added that the party is prepared for the polls in Kuttanad. He claimed that P. J. Joseph, who had said that his party will contest in Kuttanad, does not have an address or party symbol.
